| ■ ASME Code의 분류 |
| Vessel Sections (Construction Section) |
| Section I : Boiler 제작에 필요한 Rule로써, 기체 압력이 15psi 이상인 경우에 적용 |
| Section III : 원자력 건설에 관한 QA, Certification, Code Stamp, 설계 기준 등의 기본적인 사항을 규정 |
| -. Subsection NCA : General Requirements for Division 1 and Division 2 |
| -. Division 1 : 원자력 발전소를 구성하는 부품 및 기기 전반에 관한 규정 |

| User Section은 각 기기의 운전단계에 적용되고, Section에 따라 차이는 있으나 운전 및 보수시의 주의, |
| 정기 검사의 선정 기준과 보수 / 개조 방법이 규정되어 있다. |
| User Section의 Position은 각양 각색으로 Section XI은 Code 규격(Rule)의 입장을 유지하고 있지만, |
| Section VI은 권고 규격(Recommended Rule)으로 Down Grade 되었고, |
| Section VII은 권고 지침(Recommended Guideline)으로 보다 더 Down Grade 되었다. |
| Section VI은 Vessel Section의 Section IV에, Section VII은 Section I에, Section XI은 Section III에 대응한다. |
